Nice to meet you. We're 72 Design Studio.
Our team comes from a diverse background of skills and passions, from sales and copywriting to pixel-perfect design.

The experience that shocked us into starting 72
The following is a true story, and one of the cornerstone reasons why we started 72 Design Studio.
Adrien was nineteen and already making real money.
He'd started a mobile detailing business, the kind of company that comes to your car and cleans it in your driveway instead of you driving to a detailer shop. He filmed the transformations, dirty vehicle interiors to "showroom clean," and posted them online. People couldn't stop watching, and every video brought him new customers. He even hired a couple of his high school buddies to help out.
He was shocked at his overnight success (and so were his parents!). After quickly getting his first apartment, he knew he needed to look more professional online, and make it easier for people to book an appointment with him. That meant two things: a website and a booking system. So, being nineteen, he hired a smooth-talking web designer he found through TikTok.
They charged him eight thousand dollars for a "bespoke" site. This was still a lot of money for a young man getting his first real taste of success, but he knew that to make money, sometimes you really do have to spend it. His site looked great, visually. It also came with a booking system bolted onto the backend, the kind of feature that sounded real impressive in the sales pitch the designer gave him.
Eventually, Adrien's site went live. It took over a month, but that's all right, he told himself. Good things take time.
Two weeks went by. No bookings. For a business with Adrien's traffic and reputation, that shouldn't have been possible.
Adrien assumed the problem was the writing on the site. The designer he hired didn't do that as part of the service, so Adrien wrote it himself. He wasn't really the Shakespearean type, but he did his best. He tweaked his posts, second-guessed his messaging, wondered if he'd lost his touch.
That's when he met Eli, a copywriter recommended by a friend of Adrien's dad. (Eli would later become the lead developer and copywriter at 72 Design Studio.)
Eli told Adrien that the written content on his website could be improved, but it wasn't that bad. Eli asked to look "under the hood" of his website, because he had the sneaking suspicion that something wasn't right on the technical end of things.
Here's what he found. The booking system was never "wired up" properly, meaning that visitors had been filling out the form for two weeks straight and every submission had essentially "poofed" into thin air.
Adrien didn't just lose fifteen bookings from the error his expensive designer had made. His reputation was damaged, since fifteen people assumed he'd simply blown them off, and every one of them walked away with a story about the detailer who no-showed.
(Adrien later explained what happened and gave them free appointments, which restored his reputation, but also cost him time and money.)
Eli rebuilt the site and rewrote the sales copy that sat on top of it. The booking system worked this time, and it worked with words that actually told visitors what to do and why to do it now. Adrien didn't just recover the business he'd lost. He ended up with more bookings than he'd had before any of this started.
Adrien has since moved on to bigger and better things. At the time of this writing, he's hard at work getting his MBA at the University of New Mexico. But the point stands: this is what happens when a website gets built by people who think their job ends at "looks impressive."
We started 72 Design Studio after seeing a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit nearly lose the best thing that had ever happened to him before it had a real chance to start.
A website is not a portfolio piece for the people who built it. It's a marketing tool, and a marketing tool that doesn't convert visitors into paying customers has already failed at the only job it had.
We ask one question before we touch a single design element: what's the #1 action you need someone to take when they land on your site? Every layout choice, every line of copy, every button placement gets built backward from that answer.
Design that doesn't serve the marketing isn't doing its job, no matter how good it looks doing it.
If your website has never actually failed you the way Adrien's did, count yourself lucky. In fact, you're "double lucky," since you found 72 Design Studio.
Let's talk about making sure you get a website that looks good, has a goal-oriented design and copywriting strategy, and actually works from a technical perspective.
